Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayak Chaturthi

The Lalbaugcha Raja Mandal has been placing the Ganpati idol at its pandal in Central Mumbai since 1934. Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayak Chaturthi, is a ten-day Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the deity of new beginnings.

During Ganesh Chaturthi Puja, people worship Lord Ganesha with great devotion, following sixteen rituals called the Shodashopachara Puja. They also recite sacred mantras during these rituals. These sixteen steps cover various aspects of worship.
