26 January ( New Delhi ) : Bollywood actor Sunny Deol’s Gadar which broke box-office records 22 years ago is back with its sequel. The first poster of Sunny Deol as Tara Singh in Gadar 2 is out and his fiery avatar will surely get you excited. Not only this, the film is all set to release on August 11, 2023, during the Independence Day weekend. Incidentally, Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal will also release on the same day. The film has also set its release date as August 11, 2023. The Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel-starrer created a tremendous stir in Bollywood when it released in 2001 and clashed against Aamir Khan’s Oscar-nominated Lagaan. First look poster of Gadar 2 out! On Republic Day, the makers of Sunny Deol-starrer Gadar 2 released the first look poster of the star from the much-awaited film. Gadar 2 is the belated sequel to the 2001 blockbuster Gadar, and will see Sunny reprise her iconic role of Tara Singh. The new poster sees him back in his Tara Singh avatar, wielding a huge hammer and looking fierce. The poster sees Sunny’s Tara walking into the frame with a fierce gaze and a huge hammer in her hand. Shots of mayhem and devastation can be seen in the background. Fans praised the bold first look of the film and said that the film was the ‘biggest blockbuster loading’. A fan tweeted, “Will wreak havoc on opening day in theatres.” Many fans praised the poster for capturing the motif. “Wah same old Gadar vibes.”
