Fifty Shades Freed teaser dropped: Love, Marriage, Honeymoon and Kidnapping; Movie taken a dark turn

Up until now, the Fifty Shades series has been about presenting people who seem to be “good” or “bad” and making them darker/lighter. The bad boy who has a sex room reveals himself to have a kind heart, and the good girl who seems naïve and innocent is totally cool with hanging out in a sex room. In this teaser for the third instalment,

Fifty Shades Freed, things are looking much more straightforward. The girl and the guy—whose names are probably obvious to people who have seen these movies or read the books—are finally getting married, which means there’s not as much need for relationship drama and questions about the sex room. In the place of that stuff, we’re getting some gun drama and what appears to be a kidnapping attempt. Sure does make the ol’ sex room seem pretty appealing by comparison.

Fifty Shades Freed was directed by James Foley, and it will be in theatres on February 14, 2018.
