The girl with muscle power Bhumika Sharma is not just another Miss world from India. She ruled the roost at the World Bodybuilding Championship in Venice.

Who Is Bhumika Sharma?

Bhumika Sharma is a 21-year-old bodybuilder who lives in Dehradun, India. Her mother, Hansal Manral Sharma was the head coach of India women’s weightlifting team. She originally wanted to be shooter but after meeting with an inspiring coach she opted out for Bodybuilding.

Miss World Bodybuilding Championship.

Bhumika gained most number of points in body showcasing, individual posing and fall category. She successfully cleared the rounds that matter the most. More than 50 contestants around the world took part in the competition and Sharma was one of the 27 Indians who took part in the tournament.

Bhumika is now preparing for the World Universe Championship that will be held in December 2017.

This story is a clear slap in the face of all those people who think that women cannot get into bodybuilding. Women are equal to men and woman like Bhumika makes the country proud.
