Director Gaurav Kashide, Aged 26, Passes Away on His Birthday Due to a Bike Accident; FIR Filed Against Bus Driver

The Marathi entertainment industry was plunged into sorrow by the tragic passing of Gaurav Kashide, a promising young assistant director renowned for his work on the popular serial “Karan Gunhyala Mafi Nahi” on Sony Marathi. Gaurav, who had just turned 26, met with a devastating accident on the eve of his birthday that ultimately claimed his life after a harrowing ten-day battle in the ICU. Known for his dedication and enthusiasm, Gaurav began his journey in television with the show “Tumchi Mulgi Kay Karte” and continued to make a significant impact as an assistant director.

His untimely death occurred on June 10th, following a collision with a private bus parked unexpectedly in the middle of the road near Mumbai’s Vakola bridge. Despite undergoing emergency brain surgery and receiving intensive care, Gaurav succumbed to his injuries, leaving behind a grieving family, devastated colleagues, and a community in mourning.

The tragic incident has prompted an outpouring of tributes from his peers and fans, with many highlighting his talent, ambition, and the bright future he envisioned. As the industry struggles to come to terms with this profound loss, the police have initiated legal action against the bus driver responsible, underscoring the preventable nature of the accident.
