6 March 2023 ( New Delhi) : Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday inaugurated the Utkal Gaurav International School at Berunapady in Keonjhar district on a virtual platform. The event was attended by Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and dignitaries from the fields of industry, arts, music, agriculture, sports and business. Founded by Dr. Pradeep Sethi, and mentored by Salil Chaturvedi, the school is built on the philosophy of Swami Yogananda, which aims to combine intellectual and spiritual education to promote harmonious living.

Appreciating the vision behind this school, he said that modern education provides us with knowledge to understand the world around us, and helps us to maintain uninterrupted growth. However, as human beings, we also need to look within ourselves. The school is designed as a secular and non-profit institution spread over 10 acres of land at Berunapadi village in Keonjhar district, Odisha.
”It is a system of education aimed at the physical, mental and spiritual well-being of our future generation that will meet our emotional and spiritual needs and appreciates the goal behind this school”, Patnaik said.

Focusing on the state’s initiative to bring about a change in education, he cited the example of Mo School, where he said, “We are connecting the alumni with their former institutions, where they are contributing to the development of education in their schools.” It aims to involve an entire society in our education, our development process. As a society, we all must take responsibility and move forward together. School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Das cited the success of Odisha Adarsha Vidyalayas in promoting quality education among rural children. He said that 25 thousand children of villages are studying in 314 Odisha Adarsh ​​Vidyalayas. Through education, we must create a culture of infinite learning. VK Pandian, Secretary to Chief Minister (5T) was also present on the occasion. Founder Dr. Pradeep Sethi welcomed the guests and Chief Coordinator Basudev Bhatt proposed the vote of thanks.
