In the year 2023, several Indian movies achieved this remarkable feat, entering the prestigious ₹100-crore club at the worldwide box office. Let’s take a look at the top 20 movie hits across different languages that accomplished this extraordinary milestone.

Hindi Films: In the realm of Hindi cinema, 2023 saw numerous movies making waves in the 100-crore club. Leading the pack was “Pathaan,” an action-packed film featuring the legendary Shah Rukh Khan alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. The movie performed exceptionally well at the box office, amassing an impressive ₹1,050.05 crore according to sacnilk. Following closely was “Adipurush,” starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, which earned ₹392.7 crore. “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,” starring Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, and Dimple Kapadia, secured a worldwide gross collection of ₹223 crore.

“The Kerala Story,” featuring Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, and Sonia Balani, achieved a worldwide gross collection of ₹302 crore, while “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,” starring Salman Khan, Puja Hegde, and Venkatesh D, earned ₹184.6 crore. The latest addition to the Hindi club was “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” starring Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, and Jaya Bachchan, with a worldwide gross collection of ₹180.10 crore. “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” featuring Vicky Kaushal, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakesh Vedi, garnered ₹116 crore, while “Bholaa,” starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Deepak Dobriyal, managed ₹123 crore.

Tamil Films: The Tamil film industry also witnessed extraordinary achievements in the 100-crore club. “Ponniyin Selvan: II,” a historical action film featuring Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, R. Sarathkumar, and Jayaram, captivated audiences and amassed ₹344.63 crore. “Varisu,” starring Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, earned ₹297.55 crore, while “Thunivu,” with Ajith Kumar and Manju Warrier, collected ₹220 crore. “Vaathi,” starring Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon, had a worldwide gross collection of ₹118 crore.

Telugu Films: Telugu cinema made its mark with several movies joining the 100-crore club. “Waltair Veerayya,” featuring Chiranjeevi, Ravi Teja, Shruti Haasan, and Catherine Tresa, stood out, grossing ₹219 crore. Nandamuri Balakrishna’s powerful performance in “Veera Simha Reddy” garnered ₹133 crore. The entertaining “Virupaksha,” with Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon, earned ₹103.5 crore, and Pawan Kalyan’s impactful performance in “Bro” added ₹102 crore to the club. “Dasara,” starring Nani, Keerthy Suresh, and Dheekshith Shetty, achieved a worldwide gross collection of ₹118.50 crore.

Other Regional Films: Apart from Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu films, other regional languages also delivered noteworthy performances. The Malayalam movie “2018,” also known as “2018: Everyone is a Hero,” earned ₹180.03 crore. In Punjabi cinema, “Carry on Jatta 3,” starring Gippy Grewal, Sonam Bajwa, Gurpreet Ghuggi, and Kavita Kaushik, amassed ₹110 crore.
