Apple CEO Tim Cook joined in the celebration of the festival of Holi, extending warm wishes to those observing the occasion. Taking to X, a social media platform, Cook expressed his “Happy Holi” greetings and shared a vibrant photo captured on an iPhone, showcasing the colorful essence of the festival. He credited Joshua Karthik, an acclaimed photographer, for the captivating shot.

In a gesture of cultural appreciation, US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, also conveyed his Holi wishes through a video message shared on X, expressing joy at celebrating the festival together across the Indo-Pacific region. The Indian Embassy in the US joined in, extending festive greetings and capturing the lively Holi celebrations at Dupont Circle in Washington, DC, in a video shared on X.

Meanwhile, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese emphasized the significance of Holi as a celebration of color, love, and renewal, resonating with Australians of South Asian heritage. Reflecting on his own experience celebrating Holi in Ahmedabad in 2023, Albanese highlighted the vibrant displays of music, dance, and color that define the tradition, encouraging all to partake in the festivities however they choose.

Last year, Albanese partook in Holi celebrations alongside Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Governor Acharya Devvrat, underscoring the festival’s cross-cultural significance and spirit of communal joy.
