America’s Got Talent Judge, Mel B, Has Spent $50 Million And Now Has Just 961 Pound

America’s Got Talent judge and Former Spice Girl Melanie Janine Brown, popularly known as Mel B, has spent $50 million on her extravagant lifestyle, and now has just 961 pounds left in her bank account.

The pop icon, attended court in Los Angeles on March 20, says her ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte, subjected her to “multiple physical beatings” and threatened to release a sex tape.

In the filing, earlier this year she wrote: “I have tried to leave the Respondent many times. Every time I tried, the Respondent threatened me with violence and threatened to destroy my life in every way.”

Los Angeles Superior Court was told that the pair both had outstanding tax debts after making “improvident” lifestyle choices.

Grace Jamra, representing Belafonte, said: “Their lifestyle was extravagant and affluent. She wiped out all her Spice Girls money, approximately $50 million if not more.”

Mel blew her millions on everything from £200,000 armoured cars to private jets, diamond rings, designer handbags and renting huge villas with private butlers.

The newspaper reports that Mel is the proud owner of £1million worth of luxury cars.

The 42-year-old owns a black Bentley Continental GTC worth £165,000, a Ferrari California and a seven-seater Cadillac Escalade ESV complete with “armour plating” which cost £200,000.

After splashing out on the armoured vehicle which is “capable of delivering an electric shock to anyone who grabs the door handles”, she also bought an armoured Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Her love of jewellery is also well known and she owns 3.5-carat diamond earrings worth £500,000, a pear-shaped diamond ring costing £425,000 and a huge canary diamond ring worth £200,000.

Mel’s £50,000 engagement ring from Belafonte was “upgraded” in 2014 and she also owns two Cartier Love bracelets worth £8,100 a piece and also sports a Rolex worth a pretty £20,000.
