Ajay Devgn starer ‘Maidaan’ gets new release date

Ajay Devgan is one of the best actors. Last year, he created a stir with his superhit film ‘Drishyam 2’. Now the actor is in the news regarding Maidaan. The audience has been waiting for this film for a long time. The teaser of this film was released at the beginning of the year, but since the teaser release, its release is continuously getting delayed. Now Boney Kapoor has rejected the news of Ajay Devgan’s ‘Maidan’ exceeding the budget and will announced the release date of the film soon.

Ajay Devgan’s film ‘Maidan’ is a sports drama film based on the golden era of Indian football from 1952 to 1962. Ajay plays the character of legendary football coach Syed Abdul Rahim, under whose leadership India won gold medals in the Asian Games in 1951 and 1962.

The film ‘Maidan’, produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Amit Sharma, was announced in 2019 and was scheduled to release in November 2020, but due to Covid-19, the shooting of the film could not be completed and was postponed. There was no update about this project till March 2023. Later its teaser was released with a new release date of 23 June 2023. However, the film was postponed again due to post-production delays. The release date will be announced by next week.
