After receiving several OTT Series hits, Kajol signs to shoot an OTT Horror drama, with Ajay Devgan playing the production support

Kajol, the OG heroine of Hindi cinema, needs no proof regarding her recognition or the hard work she puts in. Culturally, Kajol was brought up in an Indian- cinematic family, the daughter of Veteran actress Tanuja & Indian director-producer Shomu Mukherjee is now all set to plunge into a horror debut. Kajol’s debut in 1992, Bekhudi, Since then till now, Kajol has done fifty-plus movies shot down with diva performances and applause. The actress, who recently starred with Rani Mukerji in the recent episode of Koffee With Karan, may feature in classic horrifying dramatic scenes.
In a career spanning over three decades, Kajol has portrayed a range of characters on screen. Lately, the actress has also plunged into the OTT space and has featured unpopular web shows. The 49 Y-O has certainly achieved success in her career, from winning hearts with her exquisite performance in Baazigar to achieving her OTT debut with The Trial.

The five-time winning Best Actress fame is about to commence filming her third OTT series. Maa, Kajol’s upcoming horror drama, is produced by her husband Ajay Devgn, and directed by Chhorii star Vishal Furia. The film may feature Indranil Sengupta.
Look at this: Possibly, Kajol’s next Maa OTT project may cast the actor, Ronit Bose Roy in opposite Kajol. The duo is now at Ausgram Village in Bardhaman, Kolkata for the Shoot. Ronit shared some on-the-way shoot glimpses through pictures and stopped by to relish the city’s famous Jhalmuri and Matir Bhar Chai, as per NLC resource.
The Hindi film industry has featured Kajol’s inventive acting throughout her 25-year cinema career. Her approach to her co-stars on the set and her personality as an actor are both evident in her work. Her initial OTT was Tribhanga, 2021, Second OTT was The Trial, 2023; back-to-back Kajol’s OTT gave her recognition and gestured her to go for acting in OTT platforms.
One of the NLC research also revealed Kajol always wanted to do a horror-related movie but did not get a valid platform to do such films. Horror makes her laugh and horror reading inspires her to go for this genre movie. Kajol believes it’s time to take a turn with spine-chilling action in a cinema career’.
