Abhishek Verma acquitted by court under passport act

Abhishek Verma, a well-known arms dealer has been acquitted by a court in an old case under passport act. The Tis Hazari Court pronounced its decision on Monday, 18th December 2017. Verma has always been into controversies for a reason or two.

It was filed by CBI in 1999 on a false and motivated Complaint of Enforcement Directorate at the instructions of Sr. Government Officers.

The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate of Tis Hazari court giving Abhishek a benefit of doubt acquitted him of any wrongdoings.

As a matter of fact, Verma was the main suspect in the Scorpene submarines deal, AgustaWestland VVIP helicopters bribery scandal and Navy War Room Leak Case.

Earlier this year, Controversial arms dealer has said he is getting into the cola and food business by bringing a Lithuanian brand to the country under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, besides tapping into Bollywood by starting his own distribution network.
