Whenever we think about Emraan Hashmi the popular song “Bheege Hote Tere” pops into our mind. Emraan Hashmi the most sensational man of Bollywood was born on 24th March 1979. He has worked in around 35 movies and is one of the highest paid actors in the industry.
He started his career from the movie “Footpath” in which his role was appreciated by the critics and was termed as ‘scene stealer’ and was praised for his mannerism. He was given a break by his uncle Mahesh Bhatt and he thinks of him with high regards.
His movie “Murder” in 2004 was appreciated by the critics and he was tagged ‘serial kisser’ due to the sensual scenes in the movie. He acted opposite to Mallika Sherawat and the movie became the highest grossing movie of the year.
In 2008 he acted in movie ‘Jannat’ on match fixing in cricket which was a blockbuster hit. He kept doing a lot of passionate love scenes making movies and in an interview when asked about the tag of the serial kisser he said, “I enjoy this tag actually. There is nothing to be embarrassed about this but after a while, I became bored of the repetitive roles and now I want to do some movies which can push me beyond an edge.”
He acted in a lot of movies like ‘Azhar’, ‘Ek thi dayaan’, ‘Dirty Picture’, ‘Ghancakkar’, ‘Hamari Adhiru Khaani’ in which he was praised by critics.
Hashmi married Parveen Shahani in an Islamic wedding ceremony on December 2006 after a six-and-a-half-year relationship. The couple has a son Ayaan Hashmi who was born on 3 February 2010.
The cancer was cured and he later on penned down a book titled “The Kiss of Life: How A Superhero and My Son Defeated Cancer”. He has stated in an interview that this incident has made him and his wife stronger than before and now want work for the awareness of the disease.
