The King of Pop’s legacy is making a triumphant return to the spotlight, captivating the world’s attention. The highly anticipated Michael Jackson biopic, titled ‘Michael’, has taken the internet by storm. Its trailer has amassed an astonishing 116.2 million views within a mere 24 hours of its release, setting a new record for the biggest trailer debut ever for Lionsgate and establishing a new benchmark for a music biopic.
The cast includes Miles Teller as attorney John Branca, Colman Domingo as patriarch Joe Jackson, Kat Graham as Diana Ross, and Nia Long as Katherine Jackson. Joining the ensemble are Laura Harrier, Kendrick Sampson, and Juliano Krue Valdi, who plays a young Michael.
Directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by John Logan, the film is produced by Graham King, John Branca, and John McClain. ‘Michael’ is slated for a global theatrical release on April 24, 2026.
