Marvel Studios Will Officially Release Its 4th Quadrilogy In 2026
By Ayush Sachan

One Marvel Studios franchise is joining a historic club with its latest 2026 release.
Marvel Studios is currently in the production phase of the fourth installment in one of its most prominent franchises. This upcoming movie, scheduled for release next year, will serve as the culmination of the MCU’s fourth-ever quadrilogy. In light of recent challenges in securing critical acclaim and widespread recognition, the MCU is making a strategic decision to revisit two well-established and reliable franchises in 2026. These franchises will be featured in the upcoming Phase 6 releases, which include Avengers: Doomsday and Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
After almost five years, Tom Holland will finally reprise his role as Peter Parker in the upcoming movie, “Brand New Day,” which is set to release in Summer 2026. This marks his fourth solo movie and the completion of a quadrilogy. Despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, “No Way Home” broke box office records in 2021.
Furthermore, the British actor will fulfill over 15 years of anticipation for a Spider-Man quadrilogy to become a reality. Marvel Legacy icon Tobey Maguire was initially slated to lead a fourth Sam Raimi-directed Spider-Man outing on May 6, 2011, but that plan was ultimately abandoned in favor of The Amazing Spider-Man reboot.
The Avengers franchise made history in 2019 by completing the first Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) quadrilogy. The culmination of the Infinity Saga, Endgame, brought closure to the jaw-dropping cliffhanger left by Infinity War. Initially, Avengers 4 was announced as Infinity War – Part 2, but it underwent a significant transformation between its release and Endgame.
The record-breaking superhero saga will reach a historic milestone when Avengers: Doomsday arrives on December 18, 2026. It will become Marvel Studios’ first-ever pentalogy and swiftly transform into a hexalogy in 2027 with the release of Secret Wars.
