Born on 12 August 1995 in Bombay (now Mumbai), Sara Ali Khan is the daughter of famed actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh. A true heir of the Pataudi legacy, she has rich Pashtun, Assamese, Bengali, and Punjabi roots and was raised in a Muslim household .

Sara holds a degree in history and political science from Columbia University. She made her Bollywood debut in 2018 with ‘Kedarnath’, for which she earned the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, followed by the successful entertainer ‘Simmba’.

Her recent films include ‘Metro… In Dino ,streaming soon on Netflix, and ‘Sky Force’. Metro In Dino boasts an ensemble cast (Aditya Roy Kapur, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and others) and is slated for an OTT release around late August 2025 .

Sara has generated buzz recently for being spotted at a Gurudwara with rumoured beau Arjun Pratap Bajwa, which reignited dating speculations.

She expressed empathy and support during the Uttarkashi cloudburst disaster, offering emergency contacts and sharing personal concern, given her filming ties to the Kedarnath region .

Known for her candor and charm, Sara supports causes like children’s welfare—partnering with Kailash Satyarthi’s foundation during the pandemic—and has contributed aid during COVID-19 via Sonu Sood’s initiative .
