Lincoln and Kennedy : A Pattern in History ?

You must have heard of the Late Abraham Lincoln and the Late John F. Kennedy. Yes, they both were the presidents of the United States of America. But, that’s not the only thing they have in common there’s something more which hasn’t been pointed out and can’t be simply dismissed as some coincidences. It may be an example of the fact that history repeats itself in a pattern after a some period of time or not. Let’s dive into it deeper :

Both Lincoln and Kennedy served in Congress before ascending to the Oval Office. Both of them too faced the Civil Rights challenges during their presidential tenures.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy were elected to Congress in the year ’46 (1846 for Lincoln and 1946 for Kennedy). And both were elected to the White House in ’60 year (1860 for Lincoln and 1960 for Kennedy).

President John F. Kennedy had a secretary named Mrs. Lincoln and President Abraham Lincoln also had a secretary named John Kennedy.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy suffered the loss of a child while serving as the President. Willie Lincoln died from typhoid fever at the age of 11 in 1862 and the pre-mature baby of John F. Kennedy and wife Jackie Kennedy, named Patrick passed away at just two days old in 1963.

Both men were shot in the head – Lincoln at the close range while attending a performance of “Our American Cousin”, Kennedy from a distance while riding in an open-air Convertible Continental Dallas motorcade.

Lincoln was seated in the theater box number seven of Ford’s Theater at the time of his death; Kennedy was riding in the seventh car of hismotorcade. And both were assassinated on Friday by a man with three names, Lee Harvey Oswald and John Wilkes Booth.

Both assassins were born 100 years apart from each other in ’39 year (1839 for Lincoln’s assasin and 1939 for Kennedy’s assasin). Both of the assassins initially escaped the murder scenes and were killed before they made it to the trials for their crimes.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy were succeeded by their vice presidents. However, both successors shared a common surname : Andrew Johnson (Lincoln) and Lyndon B. Johnson (Kennedy). Both their successors were born in ’08 year (1808 for Andrew and 1908 for Lyndon).

And there are many more similarities like this between Lincoln and Kennedy. Are these freaky coincidences indicating to something going on in this world and or it’s just a pure chance ? There hasn’t been any official talks on this but maybe its pointing towards the fact that history is might repeating itself in a specific pattern
