Bihar court issues arrest warrant against Ekta Kapoor, her mother Shobha

29 September 2022 (New Delhi): Well-known film and TV series producer Ekta Kapoor and her mother Shobha Kapoor are in trouble due to some objectionable scenes in their webseries XXX (Triple X). The Begusarai Court in Bihar has issued an arrest warrant against the mother and daughter for insulting the soldiers’ unity. As soon as the news of the arrest warrant against Ekta spread, social media users started trolling her. 

What was the matter ?

Actually, many objectionable scenes of the soldier’s wife were shown in this web series. Regarding which the former district president of Sainik Sangh, Shambhu Kumar, filed a case in 2020. However, after the matter reached the court, Ekta apologized, and she informed them that the scenes about which there was an objection have been removed.

Shambhu Kumar had said that Indian soldiers protect the country by putting themselves in danger, and instead of looking at them with respect, his wife has been shown wrongly. The XXX web series was streamed on Alt Balaji. After the issue of the warrant, Ekta Kapoor started being trolled on social media platforms, including Facebook.

One user wrote: “House-to-house setters will be arrested. Very good news. Happiness among husbands.” Another user stated, “This is the reason for the fights in homes between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.” Another wrote “This is also no less than PFI.” One wrote: “Boycott unity.”

This is not the first time that there has been a controversy regarding Ekta Kapoor’s series. Earlier, Ekta Kapoor had to apologise publicly due to an intimate scene in the series “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. In this series, an intimate scene of about 17 minutes was filmed between Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. There was a lot of uproar over this.
