Dhumal as BJP’s CM for Himachal Pradesh

BJP announces Prem Kumar Dhumal as the party’s CM candidate for Himachal Pradesh.

The chief ministerial candidate was announced by Amit Shah at Rajgarh rally in Himachal Pradesh.

It’s always been a part of the BJP’s election strategy; not projecting a Chief Ministerial face. To keep the party united, BJP did not earlier reveal the candidate’s name. As a party policy, BJP has put a soldier of same age into action to sail the election boat.

The revelation of BJP’s Prem Kumar Dhumal as the party’s CM candidate in HP elections comes after former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’s open challenge to the BJP to declare a CM face against him.
