An artist turns a pothole into a mermaid in Bengaluru
You would have heard about the pothole deaths many times but have you heard of an artist turning a pothole into a mermaid?
Yes, you heard it right. In a unique protest against pothole deaths, an artist turns a pothole into a mermaid’s living space in Cubbon Park Junction area, Bengaluru.
It’s not a case we are coming across for the first time. Once, Bangalore artist makes crocodile swim in a giant pothole. Frustrated by the failure of the BBMP to repair a giant pothole and a broken water pipe in the middle of the main road, a city-based artist, Baadal Nanjundaswamy, planted a 20 kg life-sized crocodile in the 12-feet-long pothole and painted the pothole green. Bangalore has reportedly over 2,000 potholes in 422 of its main roads.
