SC slams Nupur Sharma says, “Her loose ‘tongue’ set the entire country on fire!

July 1, 2022 (New Delhi): The court reprimanded Nupur Sharma, saying that due to one of her statements, the atmosphere got spoiled. Not only this, the court said that Nupur Sharma delayed in apologizing and it is because of her that unfortunate incidents have happened. A bench of Justices Surya Kant and J B Pardiwala refused to entertain Sharma’s plea to club together the FIRs lodged in different states for the remarks against the Prophet. She was allowed to withdraw the petition. With this Nupur Sharma withdrew her application from the court.

The Supreme Court has taken a tough stand on Nupur Sharma, who came into controversy due to her remarks on Prophet Mohammad. In the application filed by Nupur Sharma in the court, it was said that there is a threat to her life, so she cannot go to different parts of the country for hearing cases. In such a situation, all the cases should be transferred to Delhi itself. On this, the top court did not give her any relief, on the contrary, making strong comments, asked him to apologize.

The court said that this entire controversy has spread only through TV debate and they should go there and apologize to the whole country. Not only this, the Supreme Court has also questioned the attitude of Delhi Police during this period and said “Why arrest was not made even after several cases were registered against them?” Along with this, the court said on behalf of Nupur Sharma “She is not in danger, but her statements have definitely become a threat across the country.” Even the court said that her statement was responsible for the murder of Kanhaiya Lal in Udaipur. The court said “Being the spokesperson of any party does not mean that anything should be spoken on your behalf.”
