Ranveer Singh to Star as Shaktimaan in Upcoming Basil Joseph Directorial, Set to Begin Filming in 2025

According to the recent reports one of the most popular shows till date Shaktimaan, where Ranveer Singh is finalised for the role of Shaktimaan. India’s one of the most popular superheros Shaktimaan is going to be played by Ranveer Singh as he will step into the boots of Mukesh Khaana’s iconic role premiered in Indian television till date.

However, the show gathered a huge fanbase and ran from 1997-2005. The film will be directed by Basil Joseph, who even directed Minnal murali and it will be produced by Sony Pictures and Nadiawala Grandson. The shooting of the film will start by the 2025 and will have a grand release by 2026.

While on one hand Ranveer’s Singham Again will be released in 2024, Don 3, helmet by Farhan Akhtar, is touted to be a big release in 2025. Whereas, Shaktimaan is expected to be released in 2026. Recently, there have been reports and rumours that Ranveer was speaking to several other directors as he wanted to explore the south collaboration and looking to do a pan- Indian film.
