Alert in Agra when the youth returned from China got infected…

26 December 2022 ( New Delhi) : Fluctuations are being seen once again in the cases of corona virus infection in the country. The first case of corona has been found in Tajnagari , corona has been confirmed in a youth who returned from China. The young man had returned from China two days ago, got the corona test done at a private lab. After the corona report came positive, the Health Department team has reached the young man’s house.
A 40-year-old youth from Shahganj area had gone to China, he returned to Agra on 23 December. Here he got the corona tested at a private lab. On Sunday, the health department was informed by the private lab when the corona report came positive. Rapid Response Team has been sent to the youth’s house, further people in contact with the youth will also be investigated. CMO Dr. Arun Srivastava told that the RRT team has reached the house of the corona infected patient.
CMO Dr. Arun Srivastava told that many people go abroad on New Year. In connection with business, the number of people traveling abroad has also increased. In such a situation, the list of people returning from foreign travel will be made available by the Ministry of Health. They will be monitored for seven days, home isolated. So that there is no risk of spreading the infection. At the same time, if the report of corona is found positive in the investigation of private lab including SN, the samples will be sent to KGMU, Lucknow for genome sequencing.
In view of the increasing cases of coronavirus in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, it has been decided not to open the Taj Mahal from today. According to Agra DM Prabhu N Singh, in view of the current situation of coronavirus in the city, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Akbar’s Tomb and other historical sites will be closed till further orders, as they all fall in the ‘buffer zone’. Also, the DM told that 55 new cases of coronavirus have come in the last four days, and there are 71 containment zones in the entire city. He also said that if these historical places are opened then tourists will come, due to which there is a danger of spreading coronavirus.
Corona infection is getting out of control in Agra. On Sunday, 236 new infected including 10 doctors, 17 children and Rajya Sabha MPs have been found. Now a new patient is being found every five minutes. The figure of corona active patients has gone up to 979 in the district.
Seeing the increasing cases of corona virus, the administration has fixed private covid hospitals. Has issued a list of 15 private hospitals in which infected patients can get treated. There will be free treatment in government hospitals. DM Prabhu Narayan Singh said that the arrangements for the treatment of covid patients in the fixed community health centers including SN Medical College, District Hospital are alert.
