The excitement reached new heights with the recent trailer launch event in Mumbai, attended by the star cast and makers of the film. Not a Clash, We’re Like Family Says Ajay Devgan

During the much-anticipated trailer launch event, Ajay Devgn, the charismatic lead of the forthcoming biographical sports drama ‘Maidaan,’ eloquently addressed the prospect of a cinematic clash. In a display of tact and wisdom, Devgn remarked, “To label it a clash is a misnomer. If we use that term, I would prefer not to have two films sharing the same release window in an ideal scenario. Nevertheless, there exist certain obligations and commitments that necessitate simultaneous releases.”

This perspective emphasizes the intricacies of film scheduling, steering clear of a confrontational narrative. And instead fostering a sense of camaraderie within the film fraternity. Devgn continued, emphasizing the amicable nature of the situation, saying, “Both the films are of different genres. We all are like a family, we are friends. So, we are not looking at it in terms of a clash. We’re looking at it in the terms that there is a good big weekend. So both the films would perform well at the box office.”
