After SC observation on Nupur Sharma, Rahul Gandhi reacted, “Govt. created this atmosphere”

July 1, 2022 (New Delhi): In a surprising move, The Supreme Court of India slammed suspended BJP Leader, Nupur Sharma in the Prophet Muhammad Case and single-handedly made her responsible for the tense situation in the country. Reacting to SC’s argument on Prophet Row and Nupur Sharma’s remarks, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that the Union government is responsible for creating an atmosphere of hate in the country.

Addressing the media in Kerala’s Wayanad, the Congress leader said, “The Supreme Court has said this. But the atmosphere in the country is created by the ruling government. It is not the person who made this statement. It is the prime minister, home minister, the BJP, and RSS who have created this environment in the country. This environment of anger and this environment of hatred. This is against the interest of India and our people.” Rahul Gandhi is on a visit to his parliamentary constituency.

Earlier in the day, the supreme court of India slammed Nupur Sharma over her Prophet remark and said her “irresponsible statements set the entire country on fire”. The court also said that her remarks against Prophet Muhammad were made either for “cheap publicity, a political agenda or for some nefarious activities”. However, netizens have a different perspective on this issue and everyone is talking on social media that why the supreme court did not mention Udaipur Police and the killers who horrifically beheaded an innocent tailor in broad daylight.
