This case is more twisted than aarushi murder case.
Dramatic twist in Ryan school murder case, CBI arrests class XI student
Believe it or not, class IX student murdered Pradyuman in Ryan case
Seven-year-old boy Pradyuman was found dead inside a toilet of Gurgaon school with his throat slit on September 8.
Well till now a school bus conductor at Gurgaon’s Ryan International School was held as the prime accused, but after the questioning of a Class XI student of Ryan International School in Gurugram, who informed the school staff of the incident first, by the CBI has brought a huge new twist in the case.
He has been arrested and this arrest comes as a major twist as the bus conductor has already confessed to the crime earlier. The Gurgaon Police had arrested the bus conductor believing to be the prime suspect in the murder case.
Gurgaon Police even claimed they had managed to secure a confession from the conductor – Ashok Kumar.
The recent developments in the case-
• Earlier the bus conductor has confessed to the crime and also the knife used in the crime was discovered by the Gurgaon police.
• In this class 11th student’s investigation held by CBI, the student told that after murdering Pradyuman, he flushed down the knife in the toilet.
• Now the question arises that has Gurgaon police faked the case all way?
• Was bus conductor forced by Gurgaon police to admit the crime?
• Has Gurgaon police brought a new knife and stained it with blood and presented it as the seized knife used in the murder?
• Is the 11th std. student innocent and is being forced to admit the crime?
A trail of questions arises against the Gurgaon police after the CBI’s investigations. The case was transferred to CBI after family members pressurised Haryana Government with raising demands of proper investigation in the case.
According to CBI, the student has reportedly confessed to the crime.
Earlier a school bus conductor was held and molestation was also suspected. However, once the CBI took over the matter, it was stated that there was no molestation involved in the case. According to reports, the CBI picked up the Class XI student at around 11 pm on Tuesday.
The CBI has held the Class XI student after the questioning and is set to present him before the Juvenile Justice Board on Wednesday.
Reports say that the Class XI boy used to carry a knife to the school which led to CBI suspecting his involvement in the case. CBI has revealed that the Class XI boy killed Pradyuman so that the school postpones examination as well as the Parents Teachers Meeting to take place on that day.
However, the father of the boy has alleged this as a foul play. He has claimed that the CBI is framing him and his son. “They (CBI) arrested my son last night. My son has not committed the crime, he informed gardener and teachers,” said the father of the Class XI student who has been held. He also said that he was made to sit at the CBI office till 2 am last night. “There were no blood stains on my son’s clothes when he went to inform the teachers and gardener about Pradyuman, how can they say that he killed the little boy,” the father questioned. He also said that he was forced by the CBI to sign on the confession letter saying his son killed Pradyuman.
Meanwhile, the family of the bus conductor, who was arrested on charges of allegedly murdering Pradyuman, said they were relieved but not happy. They said that they will be happy when the truth comes out and culprits are nabbed.
The CBI held the Class XI student after questioning him multiple times. According to initial reports, the suspect was detained, but later it was stated that the student was held by the CBI.
Pradyuman, a class II student of Ryan International School on Sohna Road in Gurugram, was found dead with his throat slit in the school bathroom on September 8. This led to widespread protests across the country, with questions raised about the security of students in schools.
This was followed by the arrest of the Ryan school owners, who were later granted an interim bail by the Punjab and Haryana High Court. Pradyuman’s father later approached the Supreme Court seeking cancellation of interim bail.
The Class II boy’s body was discovered by fellow school students at around 8 am – Pradyuman was found with his throat slit and a knife near his body. Postmortem later revealed that a 18×2-cm neck-to-ear cut was what killed the child.
