Due to injuries, top stalwart players like Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar will not be the part of the Indian Test team Squad against Newzealand.
A bunch of happy and sad moments was there in the T20 and One-Day series against New Zealand. As team India destroyed kiwi’s in the T20 series. Team India won the T20 series with 5-0. We found a lot of positives in this T20 series. Our top order batsmen were totally in tremendous form but somehow we were not able to save one-day series.
In one-day series, New Zealand worked on its performance and won the trophy with 3-0. Even without their Captain Kane Williamson, they played very well in the first two matches of the series.
Now the people eagerly are waiting for test series. Everyone has the question that who is going to win the series? Both teams are quite good. Some of the Indian team players had got injured. Our top-order batsmen have been ruled out from the series. Can team India lift the test series trophy?
The unstable batting order no. 4 (Shreyas Iyer) and 5 (KL Rahul) in the Indian team seemed very stable. Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul dominated the opponent bowlers. They both played very well continuously during this tour. KL Rahul won the man of the series award for the T20 series.
The first test match between India and New Zealand is taking place on the 21st of February at Basin Reserve, Wellington from 4 AM (IST). and the last test match will be played on 29th February at Hagley Oval, Christchurch.
