Veteran singer Anuradha Paudwal seeks ban on loudspeakers Azaan, says even Muslim countries have banned it.

Parties like Maharashtra Navnirman Sena objected to the sound of loudspeakers on mosques in Maharashtra and Mumbai, and the debate is intense. Meanwhile, famous singer Anuradha Paudwal has demanded a ban on the use of loudspeakers for Azaan. Anuradha Paudwal, who has given voice to thousands of melodious songs, said that there is no need to give azaan like this in India. In a conversation with Zee News, Anuradha Paudwal said, ‘I have been to many places in the world. I have never seen anything like this anywhere in India. I am not against any religion, but it is being forcibly encouraged in India. Due to this other communities raise the question that if they can use loudspeakers then why can’t we.

Anuradha Paudwal said, ‘I have traveled to the countries of the Middle East. There is a ban on the use of loudspeakers. When even Muslim countries are not encouraging it, then what is the need of it in India?’ She said that if this practice continues, then other people will start playing Hanuman Chalisa on loudspeakers. This will end harmony in the society, which is not a good thing. Anuradha said that the young generation in India should be taught about the culture of the country. Shee said that it is the responsibility of the elders to inform the younger generation about the history and culture of India.

She said that all of us should be aware about our culture and religion. We should know about our 4 Vedas and 18 Puranas . We must know about these basics. This is not the first time that a celebrity has expressed objection to the use of loudspeakers.

Before Anuradha Paudwal, singer Sonu Nigam has also given a statement on this in 2017. However, Sonu Nigam had to be trolled for his tweet and in the end he deleted his tweet.
