The first photographs sent by Chandrayaan 2
India’s second lunar mission Chandryan 2 has successfully raised its orbit around the earth and has sent adorable photographs.
ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) proclaimed that all the standards of spacecraft are very much normal, contemplating for a soft landing in the south-pole region of the moon where no country has gone before.
Earlier, Chandrayaan 1 discovered traces of water, ice, magnesium, aluminium and silicon on the lunar surface and now Chandrayaan 2 purports to widen the scientific objectives of Chandrayaan 1 by the way of soft landing on the moon and deploying a rover to study the lunar surface.
Mission “Chandrayaan 2” success can make India the fourth country after Russia, the US and China to pull off a soft landing on the moon.
