Muzamil mentioned that Dr. Umar Un Nabi was introverted from a young age. He didn’t have many friends and preferred to focus on his studies and work.
The sister-in-law of Dr Umar Un Nabi, the suspect behind the blast near the Red Fort, expressed disbelief that Nabi could be allegedly involved in the terror activities.
Dr. Umar Un Nabi, a doctor at Al-Falah Medical College in Faridabad, was probably the driver of the car that was involved in the explosion near Red Fort on Monday. This explosion resulted in the deaths of at least 13 people and injured over twenty others.
Nabi, a resident of Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, is believed to have played a significant role in planning the operation and transporting explosives to Delhi, where the blast occurred. Tragically, he lost his life in the explosion.
The authorities have revealed that Ammonium nitrate, fuel oil, and detonators might have been used in the blast, suggesting a connection to the terror module discovered in Faridabad. In that module, 2,900 kg of explosive materials and inflammables were seized. Consequently, the home ministry has now transferred the investigation to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
Police also stated that Nabi is believed to have actively participated in planning the operation, alongside Adeel Ahmad Rather, a former senior resident at Government Medical College, Anantnag, who was arrested last week.
