It has been announced by the Tata Group to enter the 5G equipment manufacturing business with an investment of $100 billion. With this, India will be able to get home 5G equipment with the indigenous technology of 5G. For this, the company will form a separate venture named Tata Digital Business. Company chairman N. Chandrasekaran said that many countries including India are completely dependent on China for other electronic equipment including semiconductors.
