Taapsee Pannu breaks silence after IT Raids, Says ‘Not So Sasti Anymore’

Actress Taapsee Pannu on Saturday broke her silence about the recent income tax raids at her properties and said that the raid was done to search her memories of the 2013 raid that happened ‘according to our honorable finance minister’.
Taapsee took to Twitter and said that after three days of intense raids the Income Tax department primarily found keys to an alleged Paris bungalow, a receipt of Rs 5 crore, and ‘memory of 2013 raid ‘ in her properties.
Her posts came three days after Wednesday’s raids over alleged tax evasion. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s properties were also raised by the IT department. Both were reportedly questioned by officials in Pune.
It was reported that nearly 30 locations have been searched in Mumbai and Pune till now.
In the first tweet she posted today, she said, “Three days of intense search. Of three things primarily: 1. The keys of the ‘alleged’ bungalow that I apparently own in Paris. Because summer holidays are around the corner.”
She followed it up with two more tweets.
For the unversed on Friday, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that in 2013 too some Bollywood persons were raided but there was no hue and cry at that time. However, the minister did not take any name.
Taapse ended the last tweet with a postscript taking a dig at Kangana Ranaut by saying ‘ Not So Sasti’ anymore.
