Swara Bhaskar calls BJP spokesperson Meenakshi Lekhi ‘shameless’
The horrific incident in Kathua where an 8-year-old drugged, kidnapped, raped, and brutally murdered in devsthaan temple, has sparked an outrage among youths. The ruling party’s silence over the case has given ammunition to the opposition.
Meenakshi Lekhi’s press conference saying that there is selective targeting and highlighting crimes against saffron party has sparked a controversy. Meenakshi Lekhi said, “You see their plan, first shout ‘minority minority’, then ‘Dalit Dalit’, and now ‘women women’ and then try to somehow fix blame of state issues on the Centre. All this while ignoring the strict action being taken by state govts,” news agency ANI quoted Lekhi as saying.
Reacting to the same, Bollywood superstar, Swara Bhaskar, attack back with the same intensity and calls out Meenakshi Lekhi a ‘shameless’ and has taken ‘humanity to new lows’. She tweets:
Shamelessness taken to new heights and humanity sunk to new lows! #MeenakshiLekhi sick! #RapeApologist #Kathua #Unnao https://t.co/R18bCNaNLB

It’s moments like this when a clear choice must be made.
We can come together as a people to protect the lives and rights of our women & children
OR
We can allow people to put personal agendas above law & humanity
