The Indian Premier League, one of the biggest cricketing carnival kicked off on 9th April 2021, and rightly the attention of the entire world is on the sporting extravaganza.
Today, The Sunrisers Hyderabad team will play their first match of the IPL 2021 on April 11 against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Meanwhile, ahead of their game, Sunrisers Hyderabad star bowler Rashid Khan took it to Instagram handle and posted a photo stating that he is all set for their first clash against Kolkata Knight Riders for the IPL 2021.
Now What makes this more noticeable is the fact that Ben Cutting’s wife Erin Holland caught the attention of the post and commented on Rashid Khan’s picture that she is going to support Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) during the match. And to that, Rashid replied with a No.
Interestingly, Erin Holland’s husband Ben Cutting is playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders this year. For the unversed Ben Cutting was the part of Sunrisers Hyderabad earlier but this year in IPL Auctions 2021 he was bought by the KKR and would be against his old mates at Chennai today.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad outfit has been a very consistent side in the IPL. Out of the 8 editions that they have taken part in, the Orange Army has reached the Playoffs on 6 occasions.
While they won the title in the year 2016, The Sunrisers Hyderabad side was eliminated out of the IPL 2020 during the Playoff Stage.On the other hand Kolkata Knight Riders have won the IPL twice in 2012 and 2015.
