Due to the wrong turn in the economic growth of the Jet Airways there are plenty of employees who had gone jobless and running into debts. From the India’s second top most popular airline to bankrupt airline has cost the job loss to more than 16,000 employees working for Jet Airways since many years and decades.

Finally there is a bit relieving news from the side of SpiceJet as it has launched the vacancy for 500 post in its Airline including 100 pilots. And the first preference is given to the jobless Jet Airways staff as an compensation to their loss.

SpiceJet has recently announced that they going to add 27 more aircrafts to their airline. The aircraft includes 22 Boeing 737s and five turboprop Bombardier Q400s – in the fleet to help overcome the capacity deficit due to Jet Airways temporarily withdrawing its domestic and international services.

SpiceJet chairman and managing director Ajay Singh in a statement on Friday said that his carrier is giving “first preference” to Jet Airways staff in recruitment. “As we expand and grow, we are giving first preference to those who have recently lost their jobs due to the unfortunate closure of Jet Airways,” Singh said.
