South Africa Champions won WCL final

South Africa won the WCL final against Pakistan by 9 wickets at Edgbaston.
AB de Villiers scored an unbeaten 120 runs in the final and was awarded the Man of the Match.
He played an important innings for South Africa.
JP Duminy also scored 50 runs and helped the team cross the winning line.
South Africa played really fantastic in the match, especially their batsmen, who didn’t feel any final pressure.
They chased the target in 16.5 overs, losing only one wicket.
AB de Villiers and JP Duminy both played aggressively.
Pakistan batsmen scored 195 runs in 20 overs.
For Pakistan, Sharjeel Khan scored the highest runs for their team. He scored 76 runs in 44 balls with a strike rate of 172 by hitting 9 boundaries and 4 maximums.
Umar Amin also scored a helpful 36 runs and gave some finishing touch for their team.
For South Africa, Wayne Parnell took 2 wickets in 4 overs with an economy of 8 best bowling figures for Team South Africa in the final.
South Africa chased the target easily by losing only one wicket. They chased the 196 runs in 16.5 overs with 19 balls remaining.
AB de Villiers scored 120 runs with a strike rate of 200 by hitting 12 boundaries and 7 maximums.
He made a 125-run partnership with JP Duminy.
AB de Villiers got Man of the Match in the final and also won the Player of the Tournament award by performing consistently for his team.
AB de Villiers scored 429 runs in the tournament by hitting 3 centuries. He really played well in this tournament.
Pakistan bowlers failed to take wickets and leaked runs constantly. This is the biggest reason why they didn’t win the WCL final.
Only Saeed Ajmal took 1 wicket in the match for Pakistan.
Pakistan team lost 2 consecutive WCL finals they lost in 2024 vs India and now vs South Africa.
