Pakistan cricket team created a strong win against South Africa at Lahore Stadium. Pakistan defeated South Africa by 93 runs, and the whole cricket world is shocked now With this win Pakistan broke South Africa’s 10-match winning streak. After this victory Pakistan reached number 2 in the WTC points table while India slipped down.

In the first inning Pakistan’s batting was brilliant. Imam-ul-Haq scored 93 and Salman Agha scored 93 giving a strong start to the Pakistan cricket team. Captain Shan Masood scored 76 runs and wicketkeeper Mohammad Rizwan scored 75. They both carried the momentum, and Pakistan scored 378 runs in the first innings.
Even South Africa started well as Tony de Zorzi scored 104 runs but Pakistan bowlers delivered brilliant bowling spells. South Africa’s team got all out for 269 runs

In the second inning Pakistan’s batters failed to score big runs and the whole team was all out for 167 runs. South Africa needed 277 runs to win but the target turned out to be much more difficult than they expected. Pakistan bowler Noman Ali took 10 wickets in the match 6 wickets in the first innings and 4 wickets in the second innings. South Africa failed to make a comeback after his brilliant bowling performance. Shaheen Shah Afridi also gave strong support with his bowling partnership, and in the end South Africa were all out for 183 runs.
With this win Pakistan took a 1-0 lead in the series and the defending champions of the WTC lost their first match. Pakistan moved to number 2 in the points table and Team India slipped to 4th position.
After the match Pakistan captain Shan Masood said We believe in our game and this win is the result of our hard work.
