SCHOOL ROOF COLLAPSES : TRAGEDY IN RAJASTHAN

Roof of Piplod primary school in Jhalawar, Rajasthan collapsed while the children were at school. According to the Vijendra Singh, SHO at Dangipura Police station, the incident occurred around 7:45 am and students of classes 6 and 7 were in the classroom.
There were about 32 students when the roof collapsed. He said that the injured students were immediately rushed to the SRG hospital in Jhalawar. Four of them died and two critically injured students have been referred to the higher medical centre. He added that all the students have been rescued.
Four minor students died and eight have been critically injured after the heart wrenching incident , when the portion of a government upper primary school building collapsed in Piplod village , under Dangipura police station limits in Jhalawar district. This incident occurred on Friday morning. The collapse occurred when students were gathering for morning prayers.
ddressing the incident, Rajasthan Education Minister,Madan Dilawar , expressed grief and announced a deep investigation into the incident. He said that he has instructed the district collector and education officials to ensure proper medical care to the injured people and ensured a detail inquiry into the incident for the reason of the collapse.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also expressed deep sorrow over the incident and said as quoted , “ The incident of the roof collapse is extremely painful and tragic.
The concerned officials have been directed to ensure best possible treatment for the injured children. May God grant peace to the departed souls and give strength to the bereaved families.” He posted it on X.
Former Chief Minister, Ashok Gahlot , also expressed grief and expressed concern and shared condolences and posted on X that reports have arrived of the injured teachers and students due to collapse of a government school’s building in Jhalawar’s Manoharthana.
He said that he prays to God for injured’s speedy recovery and minimum loss of life.
