Sanju Samson Wants to Leave Rajasthan Royals Before IPL 2026

Big update coming from IPL world Sanju Samson has officially asked Rajasthan Royals to release him or trade him before the IPL 2026 season.

Sanju has been a key player and captain for RR for many years. But now, things are not smooth between him and the team. Reports say he is not happy with his batting position. After Yashasvi Jaiswal and young talent Vaibhav Suryavanshi started opening together, Sanju was pushed to No. 3, and he didn’t like that.

Some sources also say there’s a bit of tension between Sanju and head coach Rahul Dravid. But Dravid has denied it and said everything is fine.

One important thing Sanju is still under contract with RR till 2027. That means he can’t leave on his own. The franchise has the final say. If they agree, only then can he move to another team.
