Priyanka Chopra was born on 18 July 1982 in Jamshedpur, Bihar (present-day Jharkhand), to Ashok and Madhu Chopra, both physicians in the Indian Army. Her father was a Punjabi Hindu from Ambala. Her mother, from Jharkhand, is the eldest daughter of Madhu Jyotsna Akhouri, a former member of Bihar Legislative Assembly, and Dr. Manohar Kishan Akhouri, a former Congress veteran.
The famous international actor Priyanka Chopra is the most celebrated actress in Bollywood and Hollywood as well. Before getting married to Nick Jonas she had quite a few relationships as well. Her first relationship started with Aseem Merchant at the time when both were just modeling in B-Town.
Her second relationship is rumored to be with Akshay Kumar during the shoot of love triangle thriller movie ‘Aitraaz’. Twinkle had barred Akshay from further working with Priyanka, but there was no confirmation from the couple on the same.
After Akshay, She met the son of producer Harry Baweja during the shoot of ‘Love Story 2015’. Priyanka and Harman dated for some time and their relationship failed like their film at the box office.
During the shoot of ‘Don 2’ Shahrukh and Priyanka were rumoured to be very closed and it was speculated that both were dating secretly. After which Gauri Khan banned Priyanka from Shahrukh’s life and asked him not to sign any further projects with her.
After Shahrukh, Priyanka’s next link-up was heard with Shahid Kapoor. Both were starred in the box office hit ‘Kaminey’ but like their second film ‘Teri Meri Kahani’ their relationship also failed to perform at the next level.

She made her Bollywood debut in The Hero: Love story of a Spy(2003). She played the leading lady in the box-office hits Andaaz and Mujhse Shadi Karogi (2004) and received critical acclaim for her breakout role in the 2004 thriller Aitraaz. In 2006, Chopra established herself as a leading actress of Indian cinema with starring roles in the top-grossing productions Krrish and Don.
Following a brief setback, her career was revived in 2008 for playing a troubled model in the drama Fashion, which won her the National Film Award for Best Actress,, and a glamorous journalist in Dostana. Chopra gained wider recognition for portraying a range of characters in the films Kaminey (2009), 7 Khoon Maaf (2011), Barfi! (2012), Mary Kom(2014), and Bajirao Mastani (2015).
From 2015 to 2018, she starred as Alex Parrish in the ABC thriller series Quantico, becoming the first South Asian to headline an American network drama series. Chopra has since played supporting roles in the Hollywood comedies Baywatch (2017) and Isn’t It Romantic (2019).
