On Tuesday, 12 noon, Yoga guru Ramdev-run Patanjali Ayurved launched an Ayurvedic medicine, Coronil, to help treat the novel coronavirus infection on Tuesday at Patanjali Yogpeeth in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. Earlier this month, Patanjali’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Acharya Balkrishna, had claimed that the company has found a cure for COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
The Patanjali cure comes at a time when the researchers around the globe are making every possible effort to achieve an end to this horrific virus which is just prevailing over time.
Balkrishna on Monday took to Twitter and announced the launch of the medicine, “Proud launch of first and foremost evidence-based ayurvedic medicine for #corona contagion, #SWASARI_VATI, #CORONIL, is scheduled for tomorrow at 12 noon from #Patanjali Yogpeeth Haridwar.”
According to the Acharya Balkrishna, the new Ayurvedic medicine developed by the team can cure a COVID-19 patient in five to 14 days showing hundred percent favorable results as he also claimed that the patients who took the medicine which is made from a mixture of Ashwagandha, Giloy and Tulsi recovered within 14 days and then tested negative.
“After taking our medicine, COVID patients recovered in 5-14 days and then tested negative. So, we can say the cure for COVID is possible through Ayurveda. We are performing controlled clinical trials only. In the next 4-5 days, evidence and data will be released by us,” said Balkrishna.
Acharya Balkrishna, the CEO of the company told ANI, “We appointed a team of scientists after COVID-19 outbreak. Firstly, the simulation was done and compounds were identified which can fight the virus and stop its spread in the body. Then, we conducted a clinical case study on hundreds of positive patients and we have got 100 percent favorable results.”
