June 18, 2022 (New Delhi): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday reached at his mother Heeraben Modi’s residence in Gandhinagar. PM Modi, who arrived to meet mother Heeraben on her 100th birthday, washed her feet. Mother was sitting on the chair and PM Modi washed her feet by sitting on the floor below. During the meeting that lasted for about half an hour, PM Modi took care of mother Heeraben, fed her sweets and also took her blessings.
PM Modi, who arrived to meet mother Heeraben on her 100th birthday, gifted a shawl and cleaned her feet. PM Modi also shared pictures of meeting mother Heeraben with his official Twitter handle, on which a lot of reactions are coming from the users. PM Modi said, “Maa.. isn’t a mere word but captures a range of emotions. Today, 18th Juneis the day my mother Heeraba enters her 100th year.”
After taking blessings of his mother on Saturday morning, PM Modi will hoist the flag at the Mahakali temple in Pavagadh. After this, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate and lay foundation stones of several development projects in Vadodara, Kheda, Anand, Vadodara Panchmahal and Chhota Udaipur districts worth 21 thousand crores.
PM Modi will visit the Heritage Forest and after that he will take part in Gujarat Pride Abhiyan at 12 o’clock in Vadodara. Projects worth Rs 16,000 crore of railways are also included in the projects to be launched by PM Modi. During this visit, PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of Prime Minister’s housing projects or inaugurate housing projects for 1,41,000 families. Prime Minister Modi will also launch Mukhyamantri Matri Shakti Yojana to tackle malnutrition among women.
PM Modi will launch ‘Poshan Sudha Yojana’ in tribal-dominated tehsils on Saturday. In order to provide more nutrition to pregnant and lactating women, the government had implemented ‘Poshan Sudha Yojana’ on a pilot level in 10 tehsils of 5 tribal dominated districts including Dahod, Valsad, Mahisagar, Chhota Udaipur and Narmada, which will be expanded. And 106 tehsils of all 14 tribal dominated districts will be included under this.
