Now your lipstick will be your new safety guard.
A youth from Varanasi has developed a new personal security gadget for women.
Shaym Chaurasia, an aspiring scientist, has developed a new and innovative invention, ‘lipstick gun’ that cannot only trigger off an explosion-like sound but also send a distress signal to the police emergency number 112.
Chaurasia told, “If a woman is caught in an uncomfortable situation, she can simply press the button fitted in the socket. This will trigger a loud explosion-like sound and also send a message to 112. It is easy to carry and since it is fitted to normal lipstick, it will not raise any doubts.”
The lipstick gun is chargeable and it is connected to the phone via Bluetooth.
Chaurasi told it took him about a month to make the device and costs him about Rs. 600.
He further said he is planning to get a patent for the device.
