Nine students injured and admitted to hospital as villagers pelted stones at school bus

On Saturday, nine students got admitted in Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital for minor injuries. The injuries were caused by the village people who threw stones on their school bus.

The incident took place at Quazi Palasiya village in Indore. Apparently, the bus ran over a goat in Indore district. The goat was crushed under the wheels of the school bus. The villagers who saw this incident and started arguing with the driver.

The villagers also pelted stones at the bus which injured the children inside it. It was later known that the break of the bus was broken.

The students were immediately taken to hospital where they were given treatment and then got discharged, said hospital superintendent PS Thakur.

A case was registered against 13 people and the issue is further being investigated, said the police officials.
