NHAI Made Four Guinness World Records While In Andhra Pradesh 

National Highway Authority Of India created 4 Guinness world records during the implementation of Bengaluru-Kadapa-Vijaywada economic corridor (NH-544G) as per an official release on January 6 2026 NHAI created 2 Guinness world records near Puttarparthi. One was for the longest continuous laying of Bitminous Concrete (BC) covers 28.89 lane wide 9.63 km long section within 24 hours. The 2nd record was for continuous laying of the highest quantity of 10,655 metric tones of BC in 24 hours. Both the records were created for the first time under the six lane national highway project in the economic corridor.

Two additional Guinness world records were created on 11 January 2026. These included the continuous laying of 57,500 MT of BC and continuous paving of 156 lane km or 3 lane wide 52 km long section beyond the previous record of 84.40 lane km or 2 lane wide 42.20 km long section.
