Netizens set the social media abuzz as ‘Toofaan’ Trailer looks engrossing and the storm has finally arrived for movie lovers.

After a long wait, the makers have finally dropped the trailer of Farhan Akhtar and Mrunal Thakur starrer Toofaan and it looks engrossing right from its first frame.

The trailer begins with Mrunal Thakur’s aka Pooja Shah telling Farhan Akhtar’s character Aziz Ali, that the five-year ban on him has been lifted. However, he is uninterested in returning to boxing.

The video then shows up his journey from Ajju Bhai, a thug from Dongri who thrashes people to Aziz Ali aka Toofaan a respectable boxer. Paresh Rawal plays the role of his coach who guides him during the course of his journey.

However, Farhan Akhtar’s character is shown to be tainted by an unnamed scandal that led to him being banned from the ring for five years. Though by the look of the trailer, it seems that he will make a strong comeback.

Toofaan directed by Rakesh Omprakash Mehra is a sports drama film. Although, the trailer shows Farhan Akhtar getting into the skin of the character and promises to deliver a knock out performance as a boxer we can’t deny that there are particular scenes and incidents which will remind us of Salman Khan starrer Sultan.
