Cristiano Ronaldo on Wednesday was proclaimed and hailed as the most prolific professional goal scorer in the history of the game after notching his 760th goal to help Juventus beat Napoli 2-0 in the Italian Supercup.

Ronaldo’s record-breaking strike takes him above the disputed total for Josef Bican in the highest goalscorer in world football history.

After the 760th goal, Cristiano Ronaldo is being regarded as the greatest goal scorer of all time in professional football most goals scored by a player for club and Country.

Though the title of the greatest goal scorer is much contested as global governing body FIFA doesn’t keep an official record for it. But it has been reported that Ronaldo has gone past Austro- Czech Josef Bican’s tally of 759 goals.

Bican, as well as Pele, scored more than 1,000 goals during their careers but those statistics include strikes in amateur, unofficial and friendly matches.

Ronaldo has had a stupendous goal scoring record this season, scoring 32 goals in 32 games for Juventus. With one trophy already in his hands, the 35-year would be determined to continue his goalscoring run and help the Old lady lift the Ultimate trophy the UEFA Champions League when the season concludes.
