Massive fire broke out in Chennai’s Parking area, more than 100 cars gutted in fire

Massive fire broke out in a parking lot of Chennai’s Porur region. Over 100 cars were gutted in the fire. The fire broke out near Sri Ramachandra Medical College around 2 pm and ten firefighters were rushed to the spot.

A video was shared over the Internet where smoke can be seen from miles away even after the fire has been bought under control. The reason for the fire is yet to be found.

The incident took place days after 300 cars were gutted in Bengaluru. The fire broke out in the parking lot of the Yelahanka Air Force base, where Aero India 2019 was being held. Around 150 cars were competely destroyed.

At the time of fire, the owners of the cars were mostly inside the venue of the air show. A huge loss occurred following a similar loss in Chennai.
