Popular TV Show Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya actor Anupam Shyam, who was popularly known for playing the role of Thakur Sajjan Singh passed away on Sunday at the age of 63 in Mumbai due to multiple organ failure. Anupam Shyam was hospitalized a few days ago for kidney-related issues and was in the intensive care unit

His close friend Yashpal Sharma confirmed the news of his death. Speaking with ANI, Yashpal Sharma said, ” I got to know that he’s no more. So we rushed here & found he was still breathing. The doctor later declared him dead. He was hospitalised for 4 days. He had high blood sugar & used to take injections during shooting of his last film”

Last year in March , the actor was hospitalized after he developed some serious kidney issues. After being recovered, he had to undergo dialysis on a regular basis. He started to work again when Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya Season 2 was launched in 2021.

For the unversed Anupam Shyam hails from Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh. Anupam was an alumnus of Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts, Lucknow, where he studied from 1983 to 1985.

In an acting career spanning more than 25 years, Anupam Shyam has been part of many popular Bollywood movies like Dastak, Satya, Pyaar To Hona hi Tha, Nayak, Lagaan, etc. Apart from acting in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya, he had been part of Television shows like Doli Armaano Ki, Krishna Chali London, and Rishtey.
