KIREN RIJIJU HITS OUT AT RAHUL GANDHI

Union Minister, Kiren Rijiju , on Friday , says that Rahul Gandhi , MP of Congress ,  is not a child when the latter echoes US President Donald Trump’s criticisms of the Indian economy. He says that the country’s image should not be harmed this way.

On Thursday, Rahul Gandhi stoked a controversy when he repeated the US President Donald Trump’s remarks on the Indian economy, saying that everyone except Prime minister , Narendra Modi and Union Finance minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, knows that country’s economy is dead. He said that President Trump has stated a fact.

Reacting to this , Parliamentary affairs minister said , as quoted , “Rahul Gandhi is giving statements against the country. Several members from the opposition have also said that this is not right. India’s economy and image cannot be harmed like this. Rahul Gandhi should understand that he is not a child . It is everyone’s responsibility to maintain the country’s honour and image. The opposition leader should have this much understanding.”

Rahul Gandhi’s remarks came hours after the US President announced a 25% tariff plus penalty on imports from India. He hit out at India and Russia and said that the two countries can take their dead countries down together.
